Now that's something, I've been a fan of Garmin GPS for years, and now they're incorperating it into PDA's.

BEcause they have a really stable GPS device (although I don't own one ( I use an Earthmate))

Right, You attach the earthmate to your PC (with an Upgrade Your Palm Also)

Do you really need a global positioning system? Doesn't the thing called navigation on an expensive car do that too?

Yes, but the Navigation service (sometimes called OnStar or Teletalk) doesn't have very good staffing on the other end, so a GPS device is much better.
